Lorentzen & Stemoco has been active in China since 1991. The activity in Shanghai comprises two separate organizations. Newbuilding, sale and purchase is organized in Beijing Maritime Consultants (BMC) and Dry bulk chartering in LSS.

BMC is actively liaising with a large number of reputable shipyards in PRC promoting their various designs to a growing portfolio of international clients, as well as actively promoting second hand deals with a large number  of Chinese owners.

The LSS office in Shanghai is providing vital services to owners and charterers alike on the basis of its unique position with Chinese steelmills, operators and shipowners.
